Summer Workshop: Cartooning Studio

Work on your comics at the Cartooning Studio! This summer, from June 17–21, you can hone your comic skills with Jon Chad (Leo Geo, Science Comics: Volcanoes) and Beth Hetlandm ′11 (Half Asleep).

For 5 days, you will learn through lectures and drawing exercises to develop your characters and environments, strengthen your writing, and practice a variety of inking techniques. And by the end, you and your classmates will get to share your brand-new mini comics with each other. “You will learn the things you didn’t know you didn’t know!” says previous workshop participant Carolyn from Ann Arbor, MI.
