- Connor Willumsen, creator of Anti-Gone (Koyama Press) and Bradley of Him (Koyama Press)
- Whit Taylor, creator of Ghost Stories (Rosarium Publishing)
- Aatmaja Pandya, creator of the webcomic Travelogue and Phantom (One Percent Press), and she is currently working on a graphic novel for Random House Graphic
- Alison Wilgus, writer of Science Comics: Flying Machines (First Second) with artist Molly Brooks, writer of The Mars Challenger with artist Wyeth Yates, and creator of Chronin (Tor Books), and co-host of Graphic Novel TK with Gina Gagliano
- Rick Veitch, creator of The Spotted Stone
- Nora Krug, creator of Belonging: A German Reckons with History and Home in conversation with Jason Lutes (Berlin) for the Eisner Lecture Series
- Keith Knight, creator of The Knight Light (Grand Central Publishing) and the webcomics (th)ink and K Chronicles
