Graphic Novel TK

Laura Terry ’10 released Graveyard Shakes with Scholastic in September 2017. Her agent, Bernadette Baker-Baughman from Victoria Sanders & Associates talks to Graphic Novel TK (episode 4: Agents) about the ins and outs of work representing cartoonists. Bernadette also talks about getting the best contract, and working with Laura on approaching publishers with Graveyard Shakes. Graphic Novel TK is a podcast about comic book publishing, co-hosted by Alison Wilgus and Gina Gagliano.

Graveyard Shakes is about sisters Katia and Victoria, scholarship students at a private boarding school. After an argument, Victoria tumbles into the underworld of a nearby graveyard. She meets ghosts and a man name Nikola, who is one ingredient short for his sinister spell. Victoria teams up with Little Ghost and Nikola’s son to search for Katia.
