CCS cartoonists create Dartmouth Mural

Four cartoonists from The Center for Cartoon Studies put pencil not to paper this time but to wall at Dartmouth College. Laura Terry (Class of 2010), Katherine Roy (′10), Jon Fine (′11) and Jen Vaughn (′10) are currently rising to the challenge put forth by Tim Duggan, assistant director of the Collis Center for Student Involvement: paint an 80 foot mural in 20 hours.

The mural is on the new wall at the 1953 Commons Dining Hall (formerly Thayer Hall). They will be joined by Dartmouth students from the student organization DRAW headed up by Julie Fiveash. The mural is on a temporary wall up for the term, this is the first of many successful collaborations between The Center for Cartoon Studies and Dartmouth. Feel free to visit 1953 Commons Dining Hall next week when the paint has dried and your eyes are fresh!
